Burney to Shasta - Day 24

Mileage:  62
Total Ascent:  4153

It was a roller coaster day today.  We had a couple of climbs  The first climb was stair stepping, rolling hills for 12 miles.   The second climb was a solid long climb of 6 miles.  Sun was out with very little wind - a beautiful day.

Coming down the first climb and we came upon Mt Shasta in front of us.

Our two summits - they always have good sounding names to go with it.

Here is our other rider/sag person.  Cindi..  Without her and the other two gals we would be in a world of hurt.  They do an awesome job  that most of us don't want to do.   There's a lot of responsibility that goes along with it.

I only took a few pictures today as it was just a fun ride.  I remember reading on the internet that the first 10 days riding south to north were the hardest.  Maybe thats so.  Will have to wait and see what Oegon is like.  Tonite is our last nite in California.  Tomorrow we're off to Ashland Oregon.
