Winthrop to Rockport - Day 44

mileage:  91
Total Ascent 5618

It was a jaw dropping spectacular day today.  Sunny, a few clouds in the sky, a bit of wind but the views were spectacular.   We climbed 2 passes today, one was 14.5 miles, Washington Pass and the other Rainey Pass.  This route is on the North Cascades Scenic highway.  It didn't matter which way you looked - there was a view to be had... so here are some pics....

The mountains sweeping down into the valley

The 14 mile climb to Washington Pass.  Part of the road we climbed.

Beautiful creek with brown rocks and bolders in the water.  So unique.

Diablo Lake

Ross Lake

I can't even begin to count how many waterfalls we saw today.  Each one more beautiful and breathtaking than the last one.  I have many pictures but can't include them all.

We are staying in these little cabins tonite in Rockport.  One of the many animals they have are rabbits.

Tomorrow we are off to Sedro-Wooley and then its on to Anacortes - our last day.
